- Golden Donkeys Farm is a popular destination for school trips in Cyprus.
- Children participate in various programs and activities that allow them to interact with animals, learn about traditional practices and the history of Cyprus.
- The farm offers two programs from September to December: "Traditional bread making" and "Olive picking and olive oil production", in addition to a meal and playtime in the large courtyard.
School trips to the Golden Donkeys Farm have been loved by many schools since our first year of operation. The children participate in the traditional dough-making program “Kneading Traditionally” and in the farm tour. They come into direct contact with animals, trees, tradition, and the history of Cyprus. They learn about the olive mill, the threshing floor, the cart, and much more. This is followed by a meal with well-cooked homemade food and later a game in our large courtyard. From September to December, in addition to the dough-making, we also have the option of another program. “I collect olives and produce olive oil” where children collect olives from the olive trees and observe the process of producing olive oil.
